SURROUNDINGS

VERONA

Corte Palazzo Rosso B&B is situated in the tranquility of the village of Grezzana but only a few minutes drive from Verona.

In Verona, everything is history. The historic center of Verona is particularly fascinating and impressive. If you walk around the streets and squares, you can discover many architectural and artistic beauties: the mighty Verona Arena and Piazza Bra, the romantic balcony of Romeo and Juliet, the colorful and traditional market stalls in Piazza delle Erbe, the hills of Torricelle where you have a magnificent view of Verona.

LAKE GARDA

Verona and its surroundings are known for the many beautiful shores of Lake Garda towns that attract countless visitors every season with their beautiful landscape. Lake Garda, is the biggest lake in Italy. Its landscape is dominated by rugged mountain ranges in the north and flat soft hills in the south.
The picturesque villages of Lake Garda can be easily reached by car or by boat. A boat trip offers the possibility to enjoy a different view of the lakeshore and to discover ancient villas which are otherwise hidden from curious eyes with huge parks on the landside.

VALPANTENA

B&B Corte Palazzo Rosso is located in Grezzana, Valpantena.
The name Valpantena originates from the word ‘Pantheon’, Roman temple, which is located in Santa Maria in Stelle (the temple has a painted ceiling that resembles the night sky).

The Valpantena is part of the Valpolicella wine area, where renowned wines such as Valpolicella, Amarone and Recioto are locally produced.

The Valpantena offers opportunities for horse riding, cycling (mountain bike or road bike) or hiking on the many walking paths, such as the European route E5 (from Lake Constance to Verona) which passes on in about 20 minutes walking distance from our house.
